FAITH
page 1page 2page 3
WE BELIEVE that the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments (Luke 24:44, Acts 28:23), is the inspired, infallible, and preserved Word of God (Luke 21:33, Ps 12:6-7), is the necessary and complete revelation of God to man, and is the ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE in the one true and living God, the self-existent "I AM", eternally existing and manifested in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 14:18-11), and that these three not only agree in one, but are One (1John 5:7).

WE BELIEVE that the triune God is the Creator, the Sustainer and Ruler of creation, but is prior to, and distinct from creation.

WE BELIEVE that the first man, Adam, was created by God in His image and likeness (Gen 1:27), but fell from his original state by deliberately choosing to sin against God, and hence incurred upon himself and all his posterity the penalty of sin, condemnation and death, both physically and spiritually; therefore, all mankind are in need of salvation, but are totally incapable of saving themselves (Rom 5:12-19) and are sinners by choice, and by nature.

WE BELIEVE that after the fall, God, in His mercy and love, having made provision for men's salvation, promised the coming Redeemer (Gen 3:15) man's only hope of redemption, and it is through the finished work and shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross that men who believe through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ have their sin forgiven, are justified, and are passed from dead unto life. (Titus 3:5)

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the eternal and only begotten Son of God, sent by the Father (John 3:16), conceived of the Holy Ghost (Mat. 1:20), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23), made of the seed of David according to the flesh (Rom 1:3), and that He lived a sinless and obedient life, suffered and died on the cross vicariously for the sin of the whole world; that God declared Him to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead (Rom 1:4), exalting Him both as Lord and Christ (1 Peter 1:3).

And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and
every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he
became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
